Meet the ATEAM Faculty & Staff

Chief Administrator & Executive Director: 

Jennifer brings over 17 years of leadership experience in law, business ownership, and community service to ATEAM. As a former attorney and multi-location spa owner, she blends professionalism with entrepreneurial insight to lead the academy with integrity. Her background in nonprofit leadership and education enriches her commitment to student success, operational excellence, and community impact. Jennifer is passionate about building inclusive, empowering spaces for future professionals in wellness and esthetics. 

Campus Director:

Aaron holds a Master’s in Adult Education and has dedicated his career to empowering learners from all walks of life. He began by teaching ESL and job skills to underserved communities, and later became Director of Development for a successful St. Louis spa. Fluent in Spanish and German, Aaron creates inclusive, engaging programs and leads the school’s national certification efforts. His focus is on business skills, real-world readiness, and building pathways to long-term career success. 

Director of Education - Massage:

With over a decade of experience in massage education, Reese is both a skilled practitioner and an exceptional instructor. She trained at the Body Therapy Institute and served as Director of Education at the Carolina Massage Institute. Her specialties include deep tissue, myofascial integration, and movement repatterning. Reese is committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate instruction that equips students with the therapeutic skills and professional confidence they need to thrive in the wellness industry. 

Director of Education - Esthetics: 

Karen is a licensed esthetician with nearly ten years of hands-on and instructional experience. She specializes in facial massage, waxing, and skincare treatments, and believes that esthetics is not just about technique—it’s about care, confidence, and attention to detail. Her teaching style emphasizes both skill mastery and client communication. Karen is dedicated to helping students grow into thoughtful, confident professionals who can make a positive impact on their clients’ skin health and overall well-being. 

Massage Instructor

Michael is a registered nurse with over 22 years of clinical experience, including intensive care, emergency medicine, and surgical nursing. He brings real-world healthcare expertise into the classroom, making anatomy and physiology relatable and applicable for future massage therapists. A recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, Michael is passionate about patient-centered care, public health, and education. His engaging teaching style helps students understand the human body in ways that support safe, effective practice. 

Student Services Coordinator

Sarah is a licensed esthetician with nearly a decade of experience, including leadership of a 25-person therapist team at a top St. Louis spa. She balances hands-on treatment expertise with business insight, assisting students in successfully completing their wellness programs. Known for her award-winning performance, Sarah also supports students in understanding spa operations, client experience, and how to thrive in both solo practice and team environments.
